Let’s start with a quick intro – who are you?

Hi, I’m Abi! Creative by nature, obsessed with design, passionate about business – and a keen globe trotter. Whether I’m styling a space or hopping on a plane, I’m always chasing inspiration and soaking up new ideas.

What’s your home like – and how would you describe your personal style?

When I’m not out transforming spaces for clients or catching up with my brilliant network of industry pros, you’ll find me tucked away in the beautiful Devon countryside where I grew up. My home is my sanctuary – always filled with the people, objects, and memories I love most… and of course, my fabulous dog Babs!

As for my style? It’s ever-evolving. I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively, and those experiences have really shaped my aesthetic. I’m drawn to rich craftsmanship, cultural influences, and unexpected combinations – so pinning down a single “look” is nearly impossible.

I love having the “so, what’s your style?” conversation with clients too – it’s always the beginning of something exciting and personal, and a great way to get to know each other.

Why does the design of our environment matter so much?

Our spaces shape how we feel, live, and connect. Turning a property into your home is more than just picking paint colours – it’s emotional, personal, and sometimes… a little overwhelming.

That’s exactly why I founded IDPS (Interior Design and Property Solutions Ltd.) – to offer a guiding hand. With the right support, transforming your space doesn’t have to be stressful. It can be fun, creative, and even a little transformative when you’ve got someone experienced steering the ship—so you can focus on the exciting parts and enjoy the journey.

My Experience

I’ve worked hard to develop the perfect blend of creativity and business know-how. With a background in design and a talent for navigating the commercial world, I’ve built a career that’s taken me from small freelance projects in Devon, to the heart of London and across the Globe.

As an independent designer, I’ve exhibited my work at design shows and galleries in Fitzrovia, and my pieces have been featured in leading design and trend magazines—earning me some exciting commissions along the way.

My journey began with a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Interiors, Textiles & Surface Design, followed by an MBA in Business with Marketing. I started out freelancing and quickly landed private commissions while gaining invaluable experience with national and international product development companies across interiors, home accessories, and fragrance.

Thanks to my time at university and in London, I’ve built an in-depth knowledge of bespoke interior solutions—everything from made-to-measure curtains, blinds, poles and tracks, to custom furniture, rugs and carpets, lighting, colour schemes, paints, wallcoverings - and not forgetting those all important finishing touches.

Over the past decade, my work has taken me around the world—from Europe to the USA and the Far East. I’ve been fortunate to work with renowned companies including Portmeirion Group, Swallowfield (KDC/One), Dr Organic, and most recently, I led the Commercial team at a premium interiors brand based at the Design Centre, Chelsea, London.

Alongside the creative aspects, I’m fully hands-on with delivery—offering complete project coordination services, managing trades, timelines, budgets and sourcing. I work closely with clients and contractors to ensure every project runs smoothly, stays on track, which results in a space that doesn’t just look beautiful but feels effortless.

Each step in my journey has shaped how I work today—bringing creativity, commercial insight, and a calm, considered approach to every project.

What’s next for IDPS and our Clients?

Whether it’s a simple room update or a full-scale renovation, I offer far more than just a creative vision. I provide end-to-end project coordination—working closely with trusted trades, managing budgets with care, and keeping timelines on track so everything runs seamlessly.

With my design expertise, eye for detail, and a deep understanding of how people live in their homes, I continue to help clients create beautifully bespoke spaces that reflect their lives and style—down to the very last detail.

I’m always evolving my approach to suit you—your style, your needs, your way of living. It’s your vision; I simply help find the right pieces of the puzzle to bring it all together.

Looking ahead, I’m expanding the IDPS offering to support even more clients through complex refurbishments and renovations. That includes growing my trusted network of skilled makers and specialists, and continuing to deliver interiors that are not only beautiful—but beautifully executed.
